Two Month Appointment

We went to the doctor today for Lauren's two month appointment. I wasn't sure how well Lauren would do but we have been to the doctors office so much in her little life that she is becoming an old pro. Her stats are:

• Weight -10.1 - 30% percentile
• Length - 23 1/4 - 80% percentile
• Head - 39.5 - 75% percentile

So our daughter is very long. Not sure where she got that from. Maybe from my side? I don't know but Robbie and I aren't very tall so we'll see how tall she gets. We asked the doctor about her fussiness at night and he said she was probably colic. GREAT!!! He did tell us that we were doing everything correctly with comforting her during that time and that we should continue doing what we have been. He said hopefully she will grow out of it by the time we go for our 4 month appointment. He also told us that we needed to start doing some serious tummy time. We've noticed with Lauren that if we do tummy time on our belly's with her then she will lift her head and look around but if we put her on her mat or blanket, she's lazy. So the doctor said that we needed to work hard with her. I was so amazed how well Lauren did with her shots. I thought for sure that we would have problems but other than a slight fever she has done so good. She also hung out with Aunt Kay for the first time today and did excellent. Kay said she was pretty easy. Needless to say, I'm proud of my little one - of both our little ones.
