Changes

I know that it has been a while since I posted. So many things have been going on that finding time to sit down in front of the computer has been hard. I haven’t even been good on checking my email. First things, we have started Lauren on baby food. The doctor had told us to try to wait until 6 months but she has been incredibly fussy and we have noticed a HUGE changed with the baby food - so has our sitter and for that I am grateful b/c I thought she was going to quit. Lauren turned 5 months old last Thursday. It’s so hard for me to believe that she is 5 months old. She’s babbling and trying to sit up and crawl. She’s just a growing. She loves her jumperoo’s that she got for Christmas. Yes it is plural. One is for our house and one is for the sitters. I guess really since we are giving our sitter that jumperoo as a present for her baby that it really isn’t Lauren’s but she loves it anyways.

Next thing, our orders changed. Not surprising. We are still going to Okinawa but now we aren’t leaving till end of May June timeframe. This is actually a blessing b/c it gives us more time to get ourselves together. However, we had already put our house on the market and lo and behold on this past Sunday we got a contract on our house and have to be out by the end of February. So now we are soon to be homeless and have to find somewhere to live for 2 ½ months. I know that we’ll figure out something though. I’m just glad that someone wants our house. Hopefully, all of that will go quickly and smoothly.

So other than all of that, we have just been hanging out and preparing for our move. Gabbie’s birthday is next month. I can’t believe that she will be 8. She wants a bratz fashion show/sleepover birthday party. The fashion show is at her mom’s and the sleepover is at our house…go figure!!! I’ll have to let you know how that’s going to go!!!

I promise Kathleen to post pictures of everyone as soon as I can get the camera’s downloaded - which will probably be this weekend since I accidently took my mom's camera at Christmas and have been using it ever since. Since she is coming this weekend...they will definitely be downloaded!
