Typhoon Kompasu

So as I write this - we have strong winds and rain outside the windows. It's not even the worst of it, it's just the beginning. Now I know that I am a Carolina girl and I have been through a bunch of Hurricanes...some of the worst that North Carolina has ever seen but this one seems different to me. For those of you who don't know, a typhoon is just the same as a hurricane except it spins the opposite direction. I think the reason it's different is that I have never been a mommy while going through, nor been pregnant, nor been a deployed spouse. That's right...every September that we have been here we have gone into Typhoon conditions but we have always skated out of them until now. And every September my hubby has been deployed. I know I am strong and I can do lots of things but I am nervous. Winds are supposed to get up to 115 miles an hour. Please just keep us in your prayers. I am sure we will be fine but sometimes It's better to know that you have friends and family praying for you!!! We love you all!!!
