Another Soccer Game

So it's definitely soccer season again.  Here are some more pictures of Gabbie playing soccer. She has gotten so good and we are so proud of her.  Below that are pictures of Lulu and Robbie during the game.  She definitely keeps us entertained!

So the blog is now private

So the blog is now private...we'll see how this goes for the time being.  If it proves to be too much of a pain then we will change it back but at least I feel an added protection for my family and all our adventures.  Tomorrow is Easter and I promise that we will have lots of pics to post.  Hope all is well and remember that we love ya!

Blog Going Private

For all our family and friends - After lots of thought, we have decided to go private with our blog to protect our family.  We still want to use our blog for everyone to see and enjoy but just want to give ourselves an added bit of protection.  We hate to add this step BUT we feel like it's neccessary in order to protect our lives.  The blog has become a scrapbook for our memories and we would LOVE to keep sharing this with all of you.  We hope that you will continue to follow us through this.   So here are the steps:

Gabbie's First Soccer Game of the Season

St. Patrick's Day

Enjoy pictures of Lulu all dressed up for St. Patrick's Day.  Gabbie was only at the house for a couple of minutes so I didn't get any pictures of her but we all wore our green that day!!!

So on St. Patrick's Day, the doorbell rang around 2pm.  Now Gabbie had just gotten home from school and I was trying to get some bills paid online and Lulu was down for a nap.  I was so upset because the doorbell had rang.  Gabbie and I ran to get it and opened the door up to see some beautiful flowers.  Robbie had decided to surprise me and send me a dozen roses.  I felt so special.  He is truly the love of my life and knows just when I need a good pick me up.  This was definitely it! I love you honey!

We had Gabbie's birthday party recently.  It was at this huge place that had all these games for the kids to play and then karoke (which is HUGE here) in the party room.  Gabbie had a blast - so did Lulu!! :) hee hee

Happy 10th Birthday Gabbie!

I can't get over that Gabbie is ten today.  Seems like yesterday I met the little 4 year old.  It's a birthday like no other.  Daddy and Mommy are deployed so this is her first birthday EVER without either of them but especially without Daddy.  Daddy has never missed a birthday till today.  Pretty good record for the fact that they are both active duty!  Mommy has missed one birthday by a day upon returning from Iraq.  We are going to make it a special day though.  Pancakes for breakfast, then going to eat Japanese food for dinner with myself, Lulu, her friend Alexis, her stepdad and stepsister!  We'll make the best of it and the hope that her Mommy and Daddy get home within the next couple of days safely because we miss them lots!! Happy Birthday Babygirl!! We are so proud of you!!!
