I noticed a couple of days ago that Lauren had a little cough. It was every now and then and not very constant so I paid attention to it but didn't worry too much. Yesterday at the sitters house she had a HUGE screaming fit, enough that I had to come from work and calm her down. She had been really stuffy and fussy the two days before. So last night I kept hearing her cough. She wouldn't wake up but the cough was very constant. This morning when I went to wake her up her cough had turned into the croupy cough. I knew then it was time to see the doctor.
So after a long morning at the doc's office, we have discovered that Lauren has an upper respitatory infection. Because of her age, the doc decided to put her on breathing treatments so that it doesn't turn into asthma when she gets older. UGH!!! We did one that the doc's offce and she screamed and cried through the whole thing. Do you know how hard this is going to be??? She has to take the medicine to get rid of the infection every 6-8 hours and then after it clears she will have to 2 breathing treatments a day to prevent further infections. At least the nebulizer that we were given at the pharmacy is shaped like a cow. It's so cute and it's carrying case is a barn :) I'll take a picture soon so yall can see how cute it is!
Please say a little prayer that God will heal her quickly. Time off from work is very few since I keep using all of what I earn and Robbie is so busy at work right now it's hard for him to get off too!

Kirby screamed bloody murder the first time he had a breathing treatment at he doctor. Each time it got easier and now he sits there and does it on his own. Don't worry, I promise it gets easier.
We are praying. :)
