Lauren Update

So it's been a long couple of days. Robbie came out of the field for some days to help me out since the days off of work are very low. She absolutely hated the breathing treatment at first. She would scream through the whole thing. On Thursday, Robbie called me at work and said that Lauren was having a very hard time getting her breathe so I called the nurses line and they told me to bring her immediately. They took us back as soon as we got there and checked her out. The PA that we saw told us that Lauren has bronchilitis. It's similar to bronchitis but it is in the small bronchial tubes. In an adult we would just have a cold but it affects her so much differently. So they changed one of her meds in the breathing treatment and put her on a steroid and also amoxicilin because they noticed that she was getting an ear infection. Needless to say, it's been a long couple of days. Lauren is finally getting the hang of the breathing treatments and has even started to fall asleep while taking them. That is definitely a blessing because it's so hard to hold a crying baby while holding that little mask to her face. My mom and grandma came down this weekend (which was previously planned) and helped us out. i needed to get the house back in order because the realtor is doing an open house next week and Robbie had to get back at work. We go back to the docs on Monday for a 4-month appointment (can you believe it???) and a follow-up appointment. I will try to update everyone and let you know!!
